May 1, 2008 - August 18, 2008 (Register During Mall Hours): A Chance to Win with the Iowa Cubs

Register now through August at Customer Service for an opportunity to win with the Iowa Cubs. Children ages 3-12 can register to become an honorary bat boy/bat girl with the Iowa Cubs. Winners will be contacted by phone two weeks in advance. April - August 2008 home games only. CLICK HERE for complete rules & regulations.

Each winner will recieve:
4 Club Box Seats, the honor of throwing out a ceremonial first pitch, a mini-bat from the Backstop Store, name in lights on the Iowa Cubs Video board, and a commemorative certificate.

May 13, 2008 - May 30, 2008 (During Mall Hours): Shop n' Save with your Stimulus

Looking for a way to stretch the value of your stimulus income check from the government? Purchase Merle Hay Mall Gift Certificates valuing over $20, May 12-30, and receive a goody bag with coupons from various stores in the mall including Bath and Body Works, Dakota Watch, Deck the Walls, Great American Cookie Company, Limited, Pac Sun, Picture People, Regis and Trade Secret. Select bags have mini brushes from Trade Secret. Each person will be allotted one goody bag per purchase of Merle Hay Mall gift certificates of $20 or more. For example, if a person were to buy $60 worth of gift certificates, only one goody bag can be handed out, while supplies last. This promotion is not applicable to the Shopping for Funds! Script Program.

May 17, 2008 (10 a.m.-3 p.m.): Community Day

Non-profit organizations distribute information, sell baked goods, and more. Pre-registration is required. If your organization is interested, please call 515-276-8551, ext. 13 for registration information. Registrations due May 2, 2008. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

May 21, 2008 (11 a.m.-): Sacred Heart 5th Grade Band Performance

Enjoy the music from the 5th grade students from Sacred Heart near Food Court.

May 26, 2008 (10 a.m.-5 p.m.): Memorial Day

In observance of Memorial Day, the mall will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Department store hours may vary.

May 28, 2008 (11:30 a.m.-): St. Pius X 5th Grade Band Performance

Enjoy the music by the students of the St. Pius X 5th Grade band near the mall’s Food Court.
