Lost & Found
The Lost and Found Department is located at the Customer Service Center, 515-276-8551.
Stroller Rental
Infant seat strollers can be rented at the Customer Service Center. Single seat strollers can be rented from vending machines near Target & Dunham’s Sports. Double strollers can be rented from vending machines near Maurices.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available at the Customer Service Center.
Mall Walking
Stay active year round as a mall walker. Our climate-controlled environment is perfect for walking during any season of the year. The interior perimeter of the mall is 1.2 miles. We open our doors for mall walkers at 8 a.m. every day except Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter.
Conveniences
ATMs are located near the Main Entrance and by Younkers.
BABY CHANGING STATIONS are available in all public restrooms and the Family Restrooms by the Main Entrance.
WIRELESS INTERNET is now available. Wireless Internet is available during regular mall hours. There is no time limit on using the service, however, sign-up is required every 24-hours. To access the Wireless Internet, patrons simply launch a Web browser to establish a connection and agree to the Terms & Conditions. Printing is not currently available via a wireless connection. If you do need technical assistance to connect while at the mall, please contact the Technical Support Line at 515-223-9300.
Public Safety
Merle Hay Mall Public Safety staff is always on hand to ensure your safety and convenience. They are here to help you with minor inconveniences you may encounter as well as to assist you and our stores. If you see or experience anything you consider to be unusual or unsafe, we request that you report it immediately to one of our Public Safety Officers so we can address the issue quickly. To report an issue, please call 515-276-8551.
Public Safety is charged with enforcing Merle Hay Mall Code of Conduct. To have a copy of the policy sent to you, please send a self addressed stamped envelope to our mailing address.
Public Safety is ready to assist you in the event of the following vehicle problems:
Jumpstarts: If your battery fails, Public Safety will provide a battery jump. A release form must be signed prior to this service.
Lost Vehicles: If you need help locating your parked vehicle, Public Safety is available to assist.
Lost Children
Public Safety will immediately help whenever a child is reported lost while visiting Merle Hay Mall. To report a lost child, please contact 515-276-8551.
